YEREVAN. - The newly-appointed PM of Armenia Karen Karapetyan made an ambigous statement which can be interpreted differently.

Leader of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) Levon Zurabyan told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am, commenting on Karen Karapetyan’s statement on that they are not going to seize anyone’s business.

According to one of the interpretations, Karapetyan considers that he can grab assets but he will not deal with that. This doesn’t characterize him from a good side, the MP noted.  

“But if he wants to put a positive sense in his words, meaning that the assets had been so far grabbed but now he will not allow that to happen, then this can be considered as an accusation regarding the past or current practice. Let them find out what he meant. One thing is clear: Karen Karapetyan opened up too much, which resulted in controversies with his own majority, which is simply shocked and doesn’t know how to respond to the accusation,” Zurabyan said.
