Riga is recognized the world’s cheapest city for tourists, says the public opinion poll conducted by one of the leading booking Internet websites.
According to Utro.ru, an average cost of the room in a Riga hotel is $83 a night. The second cheapest city for tourists is Tallin, followed by Bangkok, Warsaw and Budapest. The most expensive city is Geneva where average cost of a hotel room totals $248.
