Turkey, Oct.18, the trial of 150 Kurdish politicians, who are accused of having links with the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party has started. Hearings shall be held in the city of Diyarbakir, and is expected to last several months.
Several mayors, elected from the pro-Kurdish Party for Peace and Democracy are among the defendants, RFE / RL reports.
