YEREVAN. – The Syrian-Armenian woman, who fell from the sixth floor of Congress Hotel in Armenia’s capital of Yerevan and died on September 7, was suffering from mental illness, and she committed suicide.
The aforesaid was found out as a result of the investigation into her death.
Press service of the Investigative Committee of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that, as a result, the launching of a criminal case on the basis of reports prepared with respect to the suicide was rejected.
The abovementioned incident had occurred when Arshaluys, 32, a citizen of Syria, had gone to the said hotel to see her visiting relatives.
