The only banana tree in Armenia produced fruits.
The tree grows in one of the private gardens in Ijevan, Tavush region of northern Armenia, the Public Armenian TV reported.
The local resident Armen Khechyan, who brought the Indian seeding five years ago, planted the tree.
The plant is the only banana tree in Armenia.
