YEREVAN. – Minister of Justice of Armenia Arpine Hovhannisyan on Tuesday received a World Bank (WB) delegation, led by WB Senior Economist Migara De Silva.
First, the minister lauded the cooperation between the Armenian Ministry of Justice and the World Bank, and stressed that there is great potential for further deepening and developing this collaboration, the ministry informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Subsequently, Hovhannisyan and the WB representatives discussed, in particular, tax and bankruptcy laws, e-platform of the legislative process, protection of personal data, and probation service.
De Silva, for his part, noted that the joint projects, which were implemented during their collaboration with the Ministry of Justice of Armenia, have achieved tangible results.
At the ensuing talk, it was proposed that the activities continue toward conducting courses in e-governance projects.
