Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Turkey on October 10. There he will hold talks with the country’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and make an address at the World Energy Congress, Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov told journalists, RIA Novosti reports.

"The visit will take place on October 10. A speech will be delivered at the World Energy Congress and a bilateral meeting will be held,” he said.  

 

The World Energy Congress will be held in Istanbul from October 9 to 13.

Earlier, Spokesperson for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov stated that the Russian President may visit Turkey in October. In his words, Kremlin will issue the relevant statement after all the preparations are made.
