STEPANAKERT. – In accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh), the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Mission conducted a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan.

The monitoring was held on Wednesday, to the south of Gulistan settlement of the Shahumyan Region.

The NKR Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that, from the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring was conducted by Ghenadie Petrica (Moldova), field assistant of the Personal Representative to the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office (CiO); Simon Tiller (Great Britain), Personal Assistant to the Personal Representative to the OSCE CiO; and Klaus Keller, representative of the OSCE Chairmanship, and staff member of the German Federal Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

From the opposite side of the Line of Contact, the monitoring was held by Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative to the OSCE CiO; his field assistant Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria); and Peter Svedberg (Sweden), staff member of the Office of the Personal Representative to the OSCE CiO.

The monitoring passed in accordance with the agreed schedule.

No violation of the ceasefire was recorded.

From the Karabakh side, the monitoring mission was accompanied by representatives of the NKR Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense.
