YEREVAN. - Gazprom Armenia CJSC will pay nearly 215 mln AMD (approx. $453,000) to the state budget. The decision on this was approved at the Cabinet session on Thursday.

The company will first transfer roughly 631 mln AMD to the state budget for the means of gas pipelines maintenance.

These means were gratuitously provided to Armenia by the Iranian Government under the agreement signed in 2007. And in 2008 they were also provided to ArmRosgazprom CJSC (predecessor company of Gazprom Armenia)

In the framework of the agreement between Russian “Gazprom” and Armenian Government, 415 mln out of these means will be returned to Gazprom Armenia.
