YEREVAN. – Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan on Monday chaired, at the Government, a consultation devoted to providing assistance to Syrian Armenians.

In particular, reports were delivered on distribution of the humanitarian aid that was sent to Syria, and upon instruction by the President of Armenia. 

The programs which the Armenian state implemented—over the last five years—to assist the Syrian Armenians in Armenia, and the avenues for their integration and for supporting their business projects also were presented.

At the end of the consultation, Karapetyan instructed the relevant state agencies to continue their respective coordinated work, and collaborate with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Armenia.
