UN Human Rights Committee will discuss the situation in Azerbaijan.

As Report noted, a session of UN Human Rights Committee which monitors states’ implementation of  one of the main international treaties on human rights, International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights(ICCPR), will take place in Geneva from October 17 to November 4.

At this time Slovakia, Poland, Moldova, Jamaica, Colombia, Azerbaijan and Morocco will be discussed within the framework of the Committee. Discussions on Azerbaijan will be held on 20-21 October. Except official government reports of the discussed countries, representatives of non-governmental organizations will be heard and messages of individuals will be reviewed.
