YEREVAN. – The global security systems in the world are destroyed.

Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha stated the aforesaid Wednesday in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia. He noted this at a roundtable discussion, entitled “Role of the CSTO in Eurasian Security-Building.” 

“We are not living in an easy period because, by and large, the global security systems are destroyed, [and] ties between the world’s leading players are suspended in cooperation in the fight against terrorism, illegal drug trafficking, and in other challenges,” stressed Bordyuzha.

In his words, we witness several inconsistencies, when, for example, “a country speaks from the positions of fight against terrorism, but supplies weapons to terrorist groups.”

As reported earlier, the CSTO Collective Security Council meeting will be convened Friday in Yerevan.
