Hackers cracked official websites of two regional branches of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) included in German ruling coalition.  Hackers called themselves Turks and accused German authorities of lack of tolerance towards emigrants.

Websites were unavailable for several hours. Coat of arms of the Ottoman Empire and English inscription “Hello Hamburg! We are from Turkey” were posted on the website of Hamburg CDU office.

Besides, hackers posted a statement regarding integration of emigrants into German society.

“Where is tolerance? Where is freedom of religion?” reads the message. Hackers also addressed German government, “Madam Merkel, we are waiting for you in Hamburg”.

According to Zman.com, website of Mecklenburg CDU office was attacked as well. German law enforcers have already launched an investigation.
