YEREVAN. – MapWork startup company was declared winner of the UpStart startup competition in Armenia, and it received $2,500 as prize.

Gettreated and Terreva startups took second and third places, respectively, and they were awarded $1,000 and an ArmPhone smartphone, correspondingly.

The top 15 of the 80 startups that applied for UpStart were selected for its final phase, where they delivered presentations before Armenian and foreign investors.

The panel of judges comprised professionals representing Russia, Switzerland, Armenia, and France.

The event was organized jointly by Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia, and the Institute of Innovation Technologies.

The event brought together more than 300 guests.
