YEREVAN. - An Association of Renewable Energy Producers has been established in Armenia.  As per the statement issued by the Association, its objective is to raise the role of renewable energy in the country’s economy and public consciousness.

The Association will deal with such issues as investors’ risks from currency fluctuations, shortage of water due to irrational consumption and proposals on tariff policy. Another objective of the Association is to attract international means in line with the policy announced by new Premier Karen Karapetyan.
