YEREVAN. – Belgium believes that the settlement of conflicts like the Karabakh conflict shall take place only through peaceful means.
President of the Belgian Senate, Christine Defraigne, who is visiting Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, on Tuesday noted the abovementioned in the National Assembly.
She added that the suffering of people living in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) needs to stop only through peace.
“Belgium is known all over Europe for its ability to compromise,” stressed Defraigne. “We stand ready to assist Armenia in reaching such compromise decisions.”
