YEREVAN. – Prime Minister of Armenia, Karen Karapetyan, on Tuesday received Greek Ambassador Nafsika Nancy Eva Vraila.

The PM underscored the continued development of Armenian-Greek friendly relations. Also, he informed, on behalf of the Armenian government, about his readiness to assist in the initiatives aimed at the promotion of bilateral ties.

Ambassador Vraila, for her part, noted that, historically, the two peoples have strong good-neighborly ties, and that Greece stands ready to continue the joint projects and develop cooperation with Armenia.

The interlocutors discussed the avenues for the deepening of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, and highlighted the need to take steps toward intensifying Armenian-Greek business contacts.

Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan and Ambassador Nafsika Nancy Eva Vraila also reflected on the course and development of collaboration in tourism, education, and culture.
