The charge of Britain's chief MI5 counterintelligence Andrew Parker, who thinks that Russia seeks to aggressively advance its foreign policy overseas, including using modern methods, has no basis, said the press secretary the Russian president Dmitry Peskov, reports the RIA Novosti.

"This statement contradicts the reality; we cannot agree with it. We have repeatedly commented statements about cyberattacks," replied Peskov on request of journalists to comment on Parker’s statement.

According to him, as long as "no one has presented an evidence," any statement, either one of MI5’s chief, or one of the US vice-president, or of another liable person "shall be considered as unsubstantiated and unfounded." "We cannot pay attention to any of these statements," said Peskov.
