YEREVAN. - The reconstruction of aeration stations designed for cleaning waste water will be completed in Yerevan in 2017.

Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Kamo Areyan, said the aforementioned Tuesday, speaking at the parliamentary hearings on the draft 2017 State Budget. 

In his words, the overall cost of the program implemented by the loan of the French Government is 26 mln euro. In 2017, last 487 mln AMD will be acquired from the loan (approx. $1 mln USD). “Besides aeration stations, the program includes construction of 97 km new water pipes and 5.2 km drainage structures, as well as introduction of SCADA systems of water supply management,” Areyan added.
