The health of the renowned Armenian-Russian polar explorer Artur Chilingarov, who is also a deputy of the Russian State Duma, is normal; he is currently busy with his affairs, the representatives of the deputy’s reception office said.     

“Artur Nikolayevich’s health is fine; the man is busy with his affairs, while there is panic out here,” the agency interlocutor said, commenting on the news circulated in media on that the famous polar explorer was taken to hospital with acute pain. However, the reception office representatives declined to answer the question on Chilingarov’s urgent hospitalization. “We are not authorized to provide such information,” they said. Artur Chilingarov is not personally available for comments.

Earlier, Life informed that the “renowned scientist, oceanologist and researcher of Arctic and Antarctic regions was taken to a Moscow hospital with acute pain.” According to media outlets, the 77-year-old researcher has been diagnosed with serious disease; He is currently hospitalized, his condition being stable.
