Armenian Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan refuted rumors about her resignation recently spread in the Armenian press. Speaking in the parliament she said that learnt about her possible resignation from press as well.

Commenting on reports saying that Arman Sahakyan (former head of culture department at Yerevan City Hall) is a possible candidate for ministerial post, Poghosyan highly appreciated his work.

Rumors say the Armenian leadership is thinking over a possibility to dismiss Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan.

The rumors have circulated for long time but it seems a suitable candidate for the post was not found yet. Republican Party MP Arman Sahakyan, son of the secretary of RPA parliamentary group Galust Sahakyan, was named as one of the possible candidates.
