The new sniper complex developed specially for Russian intelligence services has passed a test and is ready for serial supply.  

Head of the Central Scientific - Research Institute for Precision Machine Engineering (TSNIITOCHMASH), Dmitry Semizorov, stated the aforementioned on Saturday, TASS reports.

The sniper complex - developed for the first time in Russia’s history - is not inferior to its foreign analogues. According to the developers, the new rifles were created with thermal night and daylight sight, as well as a laser target designator. The complex is unique in that it was developed together with bullets.

Each rifle can use two types of bullets: ordinary and armor-piercing, which is 25-30 percent better than their foreign analogues, the Scientific - Research Institute representatives say. Their calibers are 7.62x51 and 8,6x68 respectively. The bullets are made in Tula and Ulyanovsk bullet plants. The rifle has also got an optic sight and laser ranger for 2 km.
