YEREVAN. - Armenia-based Renderforest startup will represent Armenia at Web Summit 2016 to be held in Lisbon. The techno event will be attended by 51000 participants, founding director of Renderforest, Narek Safaryan, told Armenian News -NEWS.am.    

 

“At the Web Summit we will present our new third generation editor, which offers greater flexibility in video production. We aim to enable everyone to become professional video creators without having experience in this industry. That is, there is one objective - to show technological solutions, which have been developed and created in Armenia, making high-quality, broadcasting quality video production available and, most importantly, free for everyone,” Safaryan said.

In his words, the number of videos created on Renderforest platform will exceed 1 mln by the end of the year. Nearly 2000-2500 new users get registered in Renderforest per day, the platform currently having 400.000 users.

Referring to the geolocation of the users, Safaryan noted that they are mainly from the U.S. and Western European countries. “Thousands of videos are created daily mainly by the users residing in these regions. By means of our service they create advertisements, animations, logo animations, musical equalizer videos, corporate and personal slideshow-type videos, etc. We are gradually approaching our main goal, namely to become a global brand while being located and established in Armenian, as well as to present ourselves as an Armenian product,” Safaryan said.

Renderforest is an online platform, through which it is possible to create videos of broadcasting quality. The website is free for users but it also offers paid apps. “Users have to pay for the services provided by the platform only in case they want to upload their video on a computer or publish it in social networks without the advertisement of our logo,” the founder of Renderforest added.

Web Summit is one of the most important techno events of Europe, which gathers emerging and already established technological companies.
