The corruption risks in Karabakh are brought to minimum, Armenian Prime Minster Karen Karapetyan said in the framework of his working visit to Karabakh Saturday.

“Frankly speaking, I’m not aware of the market division in Artsakh, but I think the corruption risks are brought to minimum here, this being the governors’ success. I don’t know whether there are monopolies or not [here], but because of the small market there might be predomination in some areas. But I’m more than sure that predomination, if such exists, is formed in a competitive field. Thus, predomination is not a monopoly in a competitive field,”the Armenian PM said at the meeting with journalists.

He also urged not to look for only bad meanings in the word ‘monopoly.’

Earlier, Karapetyan urged those who have information on monopoly in Armenia or who face obstacles when importing goods to the country to phone him.
