Upon the decision of Moscow’s Aeroport district court, Mara Bagdasaryan - notorious for her various traffic violations - has been sentenced to 40 hours of compulsory community service for her failure to pay a speeding fine to the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (STSI), Gazeta reports.

As it turned out, Bagdasaryan made the violation on May 5, this being recorded by a traffic enforcement camera. A protocol for violating the speed regime was drawn out in regard to Bagdasaryan, a fine in the amount of 5,000 rubles being imposed. She didn’t pay the fine in due time and thus a relevant protocol on the failure to pay was drawn out in regard to her.

At the trial Bagdasaryan said she was ready to pay the fine at double rate, however considering that she had been repeatedly held liable for analogous violations before, the judge sentenced her to compulsory community service. The violator accepted the sentence positively and with a smile.
