The bill on payments to the insurance fund for servicemen was introduced at the plenary session of the Armenian parliament Friday.

The decision on this was adopted by the profile committee of the parliament after discussing the draft amendments to the Law on compensation for harm to the life and health of servicemen when defending the Republic of Armenia, which was proposed by the Defense Ministry. The discussion took place in the Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs.

The decision was adopted with eight votes in favor and two against (leader of Free Democrats Party Khachatur Kokobelyan and Heritage faction member Tevan Poghosyan), one abstaining (Leader of Bright Armenia Party Edmon Marukyan).
