YEREVAN. - Leader of Founding Parliament radical opposition group, Jirair Sefilian, who is accused of illegal arms trafficking, has been charged with another crime.

His attorney, Tigran Hayrapetyan, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am Saturday.

Sefilian has been charged with organizing occupation of buildings, facilities, means of transportation and communication, other communication lines (Article 219 of the Armenian Criminal Code).

A criminal case was launched in May, in the framework of which charges were brought against Jirair Sefilian and eight other persons. Sefilian was accused of illegal arms trafficking. In August, Sefilian’s case was combined with that of Sasna Tsrer. Now he is charged with Articles 35-225 and 38-225 of the Armenian Criminal Code.
