Iran plans to sign 11 petroleum contracts with international companies for $130 billion, said the Iranian Deputy Petroleum Minister Amir-Hossein Zamani-Nia. "In the future, we may have contracts for $ 130 billion. Currently, there are 11 projects, around which we negotiate with the most influential international companies, " said the deputy minister, reports the Mehr news agency.

Zamani-Nia also said that Iran is negotiating with the French company Total over the issue of signing a contract for developing the 17 th phase of South Pars mine. The value of the contract with the French company is about $ 4.7 million. “Besides Total, Iran is negotiating with the British Shell and the British Petroleum, as well as with Russian and Chinese companies.”  he said. The mine South Pars has huge oil and gas reserves in the central part of the Gulf. Its gas reserves make 12 trillion cu / m.
