YEREVAN. - The issue of Armenian PM Karen Karapetyan's membership to the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) wasn't discussed at the RPA Executive Body session on Monday.

Spokesperson for the RPA Eduard Sharmazanov told the aforementioned to the journalists after the session on Monday, noting that inter-party and inter-political issues, as well as the congress to be held on November 26, had been discussed.  According to him, the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan's visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was also summed up.

Asked whether the Premier may become an RPA member during the congress, the Spokesperson noted: ''Make haste slowly. Let's wait and see.''

Sharmazanov also assured that the issue on changing the party administration is not on the agenda of the congress.

''There have never been two leaders in the party: There has been only one leader, who is the party head. Our party doesn't face diarchy; it will be led by Serzh Sargsyan still for many years. I don't think that any elected congress delegate can call into question the leadership of Serzh Sargsyan. This is the wish of our fellow party members,'' he said.
