YEREVAN. – It is impossible to ensure economic growth without innovation policy, and that is why the creation and clear implementation of innovation ecosystem is important.

The Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investment of Armenia, Emil Tarasyan, stated the abovementioned at a press conference on Tuesday.

“The [Armenian] state has made quite major steps and investments aimed at the formation of an innovation ecosystem [in Armenia],” he added.

In Tarasyan’s words, the link between innovation ecosystem infrastructures needs to be ensured.

“The link between these infrastructures needs to be ensured, which [i.e. the link] will ensure the implementation of the chain of the concept of innovation,” noted the deputy minister.

As reported earlier, the fourth annual Business Innovation Forum will be convened on Friday and Saturday in Dilijan, Armenia.

The event will bring together experts and representatives from local and international companies of good standing.
