As a result of police operations, over 37 women, engaged in prostitution, were detained in Urgup district of Turkish Nevsehir province. Twenty-seven out of them are citizens of Armenia and Georgia.
According to a court decision, 18 Armenian and Georgian prostitutes were deported from the country, whereas 9 Turkish citizens were released, Turkish Star newspaper reports.
