President of Armenia doesn’t believe that the relations between Azerbaijan and Iran are stronger than those between Armenia and Iran.

He said the aforementioned in an interview with Sky News Arabia.

“We are both neighbors and friends with the Islamic Republic of Iran. We have lived side by side for centuries and millennia, our friendship having long history. I don’t think that certain events can impede that friendship,” he noted.

“All the more so as I don’t very much agree that the relations between Azerbaijan and Iran are currently much stronger than those between Armenia and Iran. And overall, I am sure that we and our Iranian friends have no concerns about our countries’ relations with third countries. These relations are their business, while we have to continue developing relations in the area of economy, culture, science and education,” Sargsyan said.

“I strongly believe that the Armenian-Iranian ties, despite being tied with already a lot of threads, still have a high potential, which should be developed,” he added.
