Turkey insists that the resolution passed by the European Parliament on suspending talks with Turkey about entering the EU contradicts to democratic values and has no legal force, said EU Affairs Minister of Turkey Ömer Çelik, reports RIA Novosti.
"The decision of the European Council contradicts to its own democratic values, which the Turkish people supported during the coup attempt of July 15, going to the streets against military aircrafts. We do not consider the decision of the European Council serious; it has no legal force, "said Celik.
Celik recommended the Council of Europe to follow the words addresses against Erdogan.
