The South Caucasus is among Austria’s top foreign policy priorities, Austrian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Sylvia Meyer Kaibic stated at an Oct. 26 reception on the occasion of a national holiday.

The Trend News Agency reports that Austrian companies have been working in Azerbaijan for several years. They are mostly working in the energy and infrastructure sectors, agriculture, construction and industry.

Austrian companies are also actively cooperating with Azerbaijan in the areas of culture and education.
