Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with the former Premier of Iraqi Kurdistan Necirvan Barzani.

According to the Turkish Milliyet newspaper, the word “Kurdistan” was for the first time used on Turkish Premier’s website. The press release notes that Turkish Premier met with the former Prime Minister and deputy head of Kurdistan Democratic Party Necirvan Barzani.

It was also reported that the sides discussed issues regarding Nabucco project and transportation of Iraqi gas to Europe.
