Turkish authorities still hope that Azerbaijan will lift visa regime. “We support this initiative from political and trade viewpoints,” Turkish State Minister Zafer Caglayan told the Azerbaijani journalists in Nakhchivan.

According to him, Turkish leadership steps up efforts to establish Turkish- Nakhchivani business council and free economic zone on Azerbaijani-Turkish border. He noted that in this context lifting of visa requirements is more than reasonable step for Turkish businessmen, 1 news.az reported.

The Minister stressed that Turkey and Russia are working on lifting visa regime, adding that Turkey is trying to impel the European states to do it as well.
