YEREVAN. - The attorneys of Artur Sargsyan, who is accused of aiding Sasna Tsrer armed group, Tigran Yegoryan and Davit Gyurjyan, have states about the deterioration of his health.

According to the attorneys, Sargsyan suffers from ankylosing spondylitis: he has undergone an operation on his spine and prosthetic care, having a very large hernia.

Artur Sargsyan has limited movement functions and thus he needs special conditions.

The attorneys assure that their client is constantly in pain, has headaches and frequent vomit. When his condition worsened on Sunday, a doctor visited him and gave him a painkiller. The doctor said there was nothing serious but a few hours later Sargsyan felt worse and Ambulance was called.   He was taken to Erebouni Medical Center. After the examination Sargsyan was brought back to Nubarashen criminal-executive institution. He has been assigned a therapy.

However, in the attorneys’ words, their client’s treatment is impossible in the prison conditions, since along with the medicines he needs a relevant diet. The attorneys have submitted relevant statements to the criminal-executive institution of the Justice Ministry.
