YEREVAN. - Armenia and India have wide opportunities and unused potential for the development of trade and economic relations, as well as expansion of cooperation in a number of promising areas, including security.

Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia, Yuri Khachaturov, and Indian Ambassador to Armenia, Yogeshwar Sangwan, noted the aforementioned at the meeting on Tuesday.

The interlocutors also discussed a wide scope of issues related to the Armenian-Indian ties, the press-service of the National Security Council informed Armenian News – NEWS.am.

The interlocutors stressed that the centuries-old friendly ties between the two nations are a solid ground for outlining new directions of cooperation and its further enhancing.

Apart from this, the interlocutors touched on other issues of mutual interest, including recent international and regional developments.
