YEREVAN. - The formation of coalition of political forces four months before the parliamentary elections and the attempts to claim big success are unclear.

MP of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Sukias Avetisyan, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am at a press-conference Saturday

Touching on the chances of Bright Armenia, Civil Contract and Republic parties in the upcoming parliamentary elections, the MP noted that by uniting these political forces did not become stronger. According to him, the coalitions should be of the type to have something to say to the society and get a certain response from it in the form of votes to get seats in the composition of the National Assembly.

“It is desirable that in the future the National Assembly (NA) have a constructive opposition. Unfortunately, if we look at today’s parliament, we can see that noting is left from the original coalition,” Avetisyan stressed.

This concerns the Armenian National Congress (ANC) and Heritage Parties, he added.  In the MP' words, if the political forces form artificial coalitions, the people will apparently not vote for them.
