YEREVAN. – As a result of the Iranian president’s visit to Armenia, some progress will be ensured in the improvement of Armenia-Iran infrastructures.
Ruling Republican Party of Armenia MP Artak Zakaryan, who also chairs the National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, stated the abovementioned at a press conference on Tuesday.
In his words, several agreements of mutual interest will be signed during President Hassan Rouhani’s visit to Armenia.
“This will enable to develop economic relations between the two countries as well as to record a certain growth in infrastructure improvement,” added Zakaryan. “We are tasked with increasing the economic appeal of the country [i.e. Armenia]. We are trying to draw new economic resources and investments; in this sense, Iran is one of Armenia’s best partners.”
