12-year-old Vardan Andreasyan, who got injured, while playing in school yard, will celebrate New Year with crutches. Vardan is still unable to walk, 9 months after the incident, told the relatives of Vardan in an interview with NEWS.am. He will walk in about 2 months.

Vardan was wounded in his right hip. He was operated on in Stepanakert Children's Hospital and could leave the hospital only after 2 months. Gevorg Grigoryan, another boy who was wounded and whose brother was killed due to Azerbaijani bombardment, is already feeling better. He was injured in his right thigh. Spending a month in the hospital, he was finally discharged.

It is worth to mention, that NEWS.am provided 100 thousand drams ($200) to each family from the funds collected during their charitable campaign. 

The amount collected during NEWS.am charitable campaign has been distributed to the families of soldiers who were killed in April war and who had children. The organizers of the campaign visited such families living in Artsakh and Armenia and handed them the amount.
