A sustainable progress is registered in Armenia-UAE relations in different spheres, Speaker of Armenian National Assembly Hovik Abarahamyan stated at the meeting with UAE delegation, headed by Foreign Trade Minister Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi.

Abrahamyan offered condolences on the death of Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammad al-Qassimi, the Emir of Ras al-Khaimah.

RA NA Speaker attached significance to the intensification of agricultural, educational, scientific, tourism and pharmaceutical cooperation between the two countries.

He made a point of the Armenia-UAE business forum in Yerevan, which will give new impetus to improvement of trade and economic ties and investments.

In her turn, Mrs. Lubna Al Qasimi attached importance to further development of Armenia-UAE cooperation, intensification of bilateral trade and economic ties and trade turnover.

She stressed the two states actively cooperate in different spheres and expressed hope it will continue in the future.
