A delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration (Misterstwo Spraw Wewnętrznych i Administracji) of Poland is to visit Armenia to get acquainted with reforms of Armenia’s police system. A relevant agreement was reached in Warsaw, on November 3, at a meeting Adam Rapacki, Polish Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration held with Secretary of the RA National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan.

The press service of the RA National Security Service informed NEWS.am that the sides reached a bilateral cooperation agreement. The relevant ministries are to sign a cooperation agreement soon. The sides also reached an agreement on deeper cooperation between the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration of Poland. A relevant agreement is expected to be signed as well.

Under the agreement, Poland is to render assistance to Armenia in implementing defense reforms as part of cooperation with NATO and the EU. Armenian and Polish experts and officials will pay mutual visits. The sides also agreed to establish cooperation in military industry.

Artur Baghdasaryan also visited the European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders of the Member States of the European Union (FRONTEX).
