The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office refuted news reports by the Armenian press saying that names of Armenian high ranking officials are involved in criminal cases investigated in Russia.
“Prosecutor General’s Office has no information indicating that the mentioned people are involved in any crime committed in the territory of the Russian Federation,” said Yevgeny Zabarchuk, the RF Deputy Prosecutor General.
Earlier the Armenian Prosecutor General’s Office refuted information, stating that publication was fabricated.
The Russian Prosecutor General’s office has sent an official letter to the RA Prosecutor’s Office which said that they had no information on existence of such criminal cases. That is the reason why they could not have drawn up such list, let alone presenting it to the Armenian law enforcers. Russian Prosecutor General’s Office also has sent a letter refuting the reports in the Armenian press.
