YEREVAN. - Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan on Saturday chaired a consultation on the implementation of the Government program.

He noted that the activities should be constructed on the processes, expected investments with regard to each agency, implementation of executive documents, etc.

Karapetyan inquired from the heads of agencies on the activities stipulated by the Government program and the work carried out. The PM also referred to the fulfillment of the instructions, pointing out to certain issues:   “We have administrative level problems with our partners in provinces, communities and business. This is unacceptable. I will be very strictly following the fulfillment of instructions. Delayed fulfillment of instructions is a violation of partnership ethics. Reforms cannot be made without taking one’s breathe away. Our day shouldn’t be sufficient for the reforms,” he noted.

The heads of all state agencies had been instructed by the Premier to inventory the investment programs of their spheres and present the package of the investments expected in 2017.

In this respect, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms, Vache Gabrielyan, reported that based on the Premier’s instruction already 249 investment programs have been received from state agencies.

Addressing the heads of agencies, Karapetyan urged to submit the proposals of investment projects by the prescribed deadline.

Head of the State Property Management Department adjunct to the Armenian Government, Arman Sahakyan, for his part, reported that based on the Premier’s instruction a new privatization program has been developed with all the agencies, which has already been sent to the Government. After the final discussion it will be submitted to the National Assembly. Karapetyan instructed Sahakyan to complete the work quickly and prepare the whole package.
