YEREVAN. - Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan on Monday chaired a consultation, which took place in the Government with the participation of the heads of agencies concerned.

The procedure of royalty payment prescribed by the Tax Code by mining sector enterprises was discussed at the meeting.

In response to the concerns of the enterprises and stemming from the formed market conditions, the Government decided to favor the proposals of the business and provide for alleviating amendments in the Tax Code, which is to take effect starting from January 1, 2018.

For this purpose he asked to submit relevant legislative proposals to the National Assembly (NA).
