The United States President Donald Trump called on pharmaceutical companies to expand their production in the US and lower drug prices. At the meeting with senior executives of a number of leading companies Trump promised to speed up the registration of new drugs, reports the Voice of America.
Donald Trump met with Novartis AG, Merck & Co Inc, Johnson & Johnson, Celgene Corp, Eli Lilly & Co, Amgen Inc enterprises, as well as with the heads of the lobbying groups who represent the interests of industry.
