Turkish and Azerbaijani leaders should follow Serbian President Boris Tadic’s example, who apologized for mass killings of Croats. Secretary of Republican parliamentary group (RPA) Eduard Sharmazanov told NEWS.am.
“Serbian President reproved universal and human values in the 21st century and I consider Serbia as a country having EU aspirations, made an adequate step. Turkey should apologize for the Genocide against 1.5 million Armenians, whereas Azerbaijan - for ethnic cleansings in Sumgait, Baku and Marga. Only after doing so, the two countries may speak of European and universal values,” he said.
