On November 5, the newly appointed French Ambassador to Armenia Anri Renaux handed in a copy of his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
The sides emphasized the high level of Armenia-France relations in all spheres and stressed the necessity for further development of bilateral cooperation, RA presidential press service informed NEWS.am.
The officials also gave high importance to the enhancement of Armenian-French economic cooperation, intensification of inter-parliamentary ties and collaboration within International Organization of Francophonie.
Anri Renaux arrived in Yerevan on October 26. He replaced former French Ambassador to Armenia Serge Smessow, who had completed his diplomatic mission on October 10.
