Armenian National Security Service refuses to comment on possible resignation of its head Gorik Hakobyan. Talking to NEWS.am, Artsvin Baghramyan, spokesperson for the Armenian National Security Service, refused to comment on information.

The Armenian press has recently spread reports on Gorik Hakobyan’s resignation. Health state is named as one of the reasons.

The Aravot newspaper even named Hakobyan’s successor. Referring to its sources, the daily wrote that he will be replaced by Deputy Director of RA National Security Service Arzuman Harutunyan, brother of Gagik Harutunyan, President of the Armenian Constitutional Court.
